Imagine Your Project Like a Shoe

A marketer should have a permanent open connection with his work field somewhere in his mind. Always looking out for opportunities and ideas that could help him grow and develop.

I happened to wander one day, a bit lost, through a shoe store. Among the shelves, I could not help but notice the multitude of shoes, all the same, but in different colors, different styles, different sizes, different shapes, etc. A variety of shoes all build with a sole purpose: to be worn in our feet!

And that’s when I came up with this idea: “Every project should be designed like a shoe. A regular solution and a must have in our everyday life, but ready to be developed further in as many ways and shapes as possible.”
It’s simply fascinating to see that a simple object that you wear everyday, in the same way and with the same purpose could take so many shapes and colors.

I want to challenge you to imagine your project as a shoe. How much can it be enhanced at the moment? How many shapes can your project take? How many people does your project fit? How many “colors” can your project take? For how many seasons can your project be “worn”?

Imagine your project as a shoe.

P.S. I was walking through the men’s section when I got lost in the diversity. What about walking through the women’s section?
