Time is expensive and valuable. Perhaps even more valuable than gold or money. So expensive that we think of our education from the perspective of time, not money. “Is it worth going to the respective conference? How much does it cost? OK, but how long does it take? “or “How thick is this book? How long will it take me to read it? “.
An advertiser, marketer, social media worker (whether a manager, specialist, guru or ninja) is constantly educating himself. The development of tools and communication channels will not stop in the near future, but will continue to grow and provide new services.
But just how can a specialist manage to do it all in one day? That is, to inform himself, to learn, to study, to put into practice, to collect results, to measure and resume the cycle? Easy. Effective time management. And regarding the information part, study and learning, I have found a solution: podcasts.
I wrote before about 8 podcasts worth listening to, but today I come with an addition to that list with other 5 series for those who want to enrich their list.
1. Content Ink.
Joe Pulizzi is the Evangelist of the Content Marketing concept. He has written 4 books, he records weekly podcasts, succeeded in building the best (in my opinion) company on education and inspiration in the content marketing industry and annually organizes the most popular conference in the field-Content Marketing World. The “Content Ink” podcast is for entrepreneurs and startups that want to grow an audience through remarkable content. Each podcast contains inspirational ideas that may influence your business, all of which are shorter than 15 minutes.

2. Jay Today
Jay Baer manages to weekly come up with ideas and news from the digital marketing, social media and business world that he then puts into a podcast episode, and in a video (for video content consumers). I love Jay because he does not speak inspirational and motivational nonsense for the so-called “entrepreneurs of today”. A lot of times happened that out of an episode of Jay I found my inspiration for articles on my blog.
Unfortunately Jay ended the “Jay Today Show” but I know that he will come up with something bigger! Good luck Jay.

3. ProBlogger
Darren Rowse is the representative of one of the loudest voices in the blogging industry. His blogs, ProBlogger and Digital-Photography-School, are read by over 5 million people every month. If you’re the kind of person who wants to study a field before working in it, then I recommend you read everything from problogger.net. The “ProBlogger” podcast is a mix of teaching, case studies and challenges launched by Darren, who is trying to help his listeners create a top blog.

4. Six Pixel of Separation
When you see the following text in Joel Mitchel‘s site description, “When Google wants someone to explain the latest developments in marketing to the top brands in the world, they bring Mitch Joel to the Googleplex in Mountain View, California. Marketing Magazine dubbed him the “Rock Star of Digital Marketing” and called him, “one of North America’s leading digital visionaries.” Back in 2006 he was named one of the most influential authorities on blog marketing in the world. “, then you cannot add anything else, but you just have to go listen to his podcast” Six Pixel of Separation”- that’s if you don’t have time to also read his blog or watch his Twitter/Facebook.

5. Manly Pinterest
When someone says “Pinterest is just for women” I look at that person and I try not to laugh in their face. Of course, those who say that it’s just for the fair sex, have yet to discover the true power of this social network. Or maybe they’re not “men” enough to use it. “The Manly Pinterest” podcast is a show created by Jeff Sieh that provides the best practices and strategies, demonstrating how you can make the most of this network.
